The anatomical structure alone is remarkable. A total of 10 bones are involved in the wrist area (radius, ulna and 8 carpal bones), which articulate in a correspondingly large number of joint connections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A&nbsp;<strong>wrist&nbsp;<\/strong>consists of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>The distal radioulnar joint, which connects the radius and the ulna and enables rotating movements of the hand,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the radiocarpal joint, which connects the carpus to the radius and ulnar,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the mediocarpal joint, which connects both rows of carpi underneath it.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Hands are complex, involving ligaments, a connective tissue disc (discus), tendons, muscles, blood vessels, and nerves. Additionally, the metacarpals are uniquely joined with the carpal bones, thus enabling the fingers to perform their function starting at the very base.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Given the fascinating anatomy,
