EMTT® — Extracorporeal Magnetotransduction Therapy

EMTT® — Extracorporeal Magnetotransduction Therapy

EMTT® is a highly effective therapy mainly used for the regeneration and rehabilitation of (sports) injuries and problems arising from overuse.

EMTT® treats painful areas of the body with high-frequency magnetic impulses. This novel type of therapy builds up an extremely high energy field within milliseconds, with an oscillation frequency more than 1,000 times that of the earth’s magnetic field. The resulting energy pulses are able to permeate the cell membrane to become energetically effective within the cell itself. This improves the energy metabolism of the cell, normalizing physiological cell processes and inducing or accelerating the cell’s own natural healing processes.

The Magnetolith apparatus from Storz Medical guarantees a very high penetration depth (18 cm) and thus is indicated for a wide variety of musculoskeletal problems.

The energy it generates is transferred to the treated areas with an applicator wand, and the patient does not need to disrobe. The treatment is outpatient and completely painless.

The effectiveness of EMTT has been demonstrated in several clinical studies (Krath, J. Orthop. 2017, Klüter, Electromagnetic Biol. Med. 2018, J. Orthop. Ther. 2018, Gerdesmeyer, Foot Ankle Surg. 2017, etc.).
